7.6 miles according to Google maps, rode to the redbox, my local bike shop where I got them to give me a bike tire cap (the cat found the last one, so it's ... somewhere unfindable) and discussed a cycling computer, as well as the best way to set up the folding bike. I am surprised, sort of, that there are cycling computers almost as expensive as my bike, but I shouldn't be. They're aimed at the high end/training market, and I'm a casual cyclist at best. I didn't buy one today, but I know what I want.
Also stopped at the local used book-crack store, bought a couple of John Scalzi books (the scuzz-fart has a book coming out in May that I'm salivating over. Unfortunately, it's coming out in May and I want it now). These should tide me over. The man is a very good writer. The owner of the store didn't know about the book, but now she's looking for it too.
Of the last thing from yesterday's list ... I couldn't find anything wrong with the dvd player, it played the RED dvd, although there was some pixelation when I first tried to play it. I'm going to try to find out if it's cd's being played that are the problem. Could be that the player needs a cleaning.
