I had to do some business in a bank with one of the bank officers (the guys at the desks, not one of the tellers). The bank was rather crowded, but I'd brought a book and waited without problem until I could see someone.
We were getting things without issue, then I noticed his tie.
Diagonal stripes, gray and black.
Little black skulls and crossed bones on the gray stripes.
I blinked, grinned, and complimented him on the tie, and wondered why it wasn't a "girly death" tie. Those have pink bows.
He grinned back, said he hadn't heard of that, and we finished our business.
I'm now not quite sure if I should be amused at his choice in neckwear, or consider it corporate warning, like the orange flags for the gaslines. It is a nationally known bank after all.
